Things To Do In Houston This Week Aug 18-23 2008

Racism and other key issues that keep us from connecting as a true community are the topics of disscussion as we strive towards creating a more perfect union. This weeK KPFT and the Center for the Healing of Racism invite you to to share in a dialogue on these issues, Tuesday, August 19 from 7-9 pm at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in Midtown Houston.

There will be a panel of representative members of our community to facilitate a discussion beginning on the pivotal divisive issue we face in our nation: racism. Everyone can submit questions, which will be compiled and presented in the second half of the program.

This program will be take place in the Fondren Hall at St. Paul’s,located in Midtown Houston, near the Museum of Fine Arts. Free parking is available across Fannin St from the church.
