The weekend action starts Friday night at Hermann Park, and last until Sunday afternoon's laid back jam in Downtown Houston.

Screen on the Green, Discovery Green will be hosting free films screenings outdoors under the summer stars and lights. This weeks film is
School of Rock, directed by Austin filmmaker Richard Linklater (Friday, 8:30 pm.)


DANCING IN THE STREETS, the annual show opens at the Miller Outdoor Theater, during Memorial Day Weekend. You'll hear some soulful renditions by local performers of some of Motowns famous acts from the 60's 70's.

Last but not least you can visit Houston art. It all belongs to the enormous Municipal Art Collection of the city of Houston. These fabulous sculptors and paintings are located all over town from McGregor Park and Buffalo Bayou to inside of Hobby airport.
