Not just for Black History Month, but anytime is good time to share stories about African American elders. That's one of the reasons Melisa Waddy-Thibodeaux is performing her one woman show, "The Resurrection of Harriet Tubman" at home, this weekend in Houston.
Melisa has inspired audiences around the nation with her reenactment of the iron-willed chief conductor on the Underground Railroad, for escaped slaves. The Friday night show features a 20-minute Q&A with the playwright. View more details about this event at llu.Com
