Senator Barack Obama brought the Obama’08 campaign to Houston’s Toyota Center, which is close enough to Midtown Houston for me to get the details for the residents who couldn‘t make it to the political pep rally.
The “Yes We Can “video was played as a prelude to the senators arrival, at the podium, to share his message about change. He spoke about change in the economy. Alluding to the need to stop giving incentives to corporations to dismantle factories and relocate the jobs in other countries.
He shared his ideas for health care. That everyone in this country, that leads the world in developing medical advances, should have access to quality health care. He stressed, yes, we can have, affordable premiums, co-pays and deductibles.
The supporters were not just the poor and middle class but there were several Houstonians sitting in the luxury suites that took time out of their busy schedules to cheer on the presidential hopeful.
