 Wet Wild  Budget-Friendly Nature Tours

     Looking for a laid-back leisure cruise down on the bayou? Then make Armand Bayou Nature Center a stop on your next day-trip or weekend getaway. They make it easy for groups, couples and families to have awesome up-close encounters with animals in their natural habitat. Plus you’ll get a fantastic boating adventure in the wild.

     Get set to get a little wet, as you meander in a canoe or on-board their pontoon boat. The trips are available during early morning and evening hours. Reservations are recommended but not required for most of these tours.

A few short miles outside Houston sits several a humongous aquariums including a 5,000 gallon aquarium awaiting your inspection. Sea​ ​Center​ ​Texas is home to a Texas size hatchery, the largest redfish hatchery in the world.
    It’s a great place for adults and kids to get a quick and fast ​education​ about ​ ​the​ ​Texas​ ​coastal​ ecosystem and its marine life. There is plenty to see and do from exploring the outdoor wetland exhibit to trying out skills at the youth fishing pond. The aquariums are thoughtfully arranged and well maintained.
     Combining your visit there with a stop by the nearby Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge makes for a nice day trip to the area.

Another exciting place to visit in and around Houston is a Top Flight Hunting. A full service hunting lodge with over 350 acres of natural pasture land. The ground cover ranges from prairie grass and rose hedges to scattered oak trees. The hunting preserve is an ideal place to take a group of friends or family for bird hunts.

    A place worth visiting is a 1,800-acre working ranch that dates back to Austin’s original 300 colonist. It features a variety of activities from ranch work to fun facts about the legacy and history of ranches in Texas.
