Houston Height's Holiday Home Tour



The "Height's Enchantment Holiday Tour" is set for Friday and Saturday Dec 5th and 6th. This year's tour features six delightfully decorated homes, three historic residences and three homes representing the Height's traditional architecture styles.

You'll be enlightened with the personal history, architectural features, furnishings, and decorations of each of the enchanting homes.

The best way to keep a few dollars in your pocket, is by purchasing your tickets for the tour in advance. Tickets will be available at the Heights Fire Station at 107 W. 12th and Yale Streets, and at each home.

For a more laid back start to your weekend, come to the Houston Arboretum and be amazed at what your hands can create, as professionally trained artist, Lisa Qualls, imparts the wisdom of creating cards for the holiday or any occasion from nature.

The class covers several interesting design techniques that'll enhance your skill set, including photo transfers, handmade stamps and collage.

By the end of the learning session you"ll have cards, a carved stamp, assorted papers and some lagniappe to continue your creative experiences at home.
